Graduation Celebration!

At the Center of Hope we have just begun a new term of classes. We are teaching 8 English classes, 6 Computer classes, a First-Aid class, a Cooking class and a Sewing class. New refugees are coming in every day to sign up and our classes are now very full...in fact overflowing out the door, literally!!

Our Wednesday night Bible study time is growing and we are so thankful for the opportunity it affords us to gather together to learn and share about God. Please pray for His continued grace and wisdom as we go through the Bible.

Two weeks ago we hosted a graduation celebration for the 22 students from the 2 First Aid classes. These students completed 14 hours of training in CPR, wound management, burn care, choking assistance, and childbirth. On Friday we had over 65 people come with their ethnic dishes and we handed out certificates and First Aid kits to the graduates.
