It is such a blessing and privilege to serve young people, who are full of life, energetic and inquisitive. For three weeks this past school holiday we had 52 refugee youth attend an intensive conference at the Center of Hope. The themes: Leadership and Character Development. Each day, three of the youth would take charge and lead their peers in discussions, games and activities. What a lively, noisy time!!! Watching them work together across cultural and religious differences gave me hope that we are investing in the future leaders of nations!!!!!!!!!! These young people will be the agents of change in their countries!! The highlight was the day the youth did their service outreach project at a local Ugandan orphanage! We spent the day serving the kids, playing with them and showing them love! Check out the pictures below!!
