Trip to Kaberamaido

The New Centre of Hope in Kaberamaido

In October, Jade traveled to Kaberamaido to visit our new Center of Hope!  The new Center (Centre using the British spelling) will serve the communityof Kaberamaido by providing trainings, computer classes, and Bible studies.

We have 5 computers and a new generator so if all goes well, classes should begin this month!

FIRST FRUITS!!!!!
Refuge and Hope has provided seeds, tools, and trainings to the Arrow Boys
and widows in Kaberamaido.  Their hard work is starting to pay off!

Refuge and Hope provided water filters to 2 schools during Jade’s trip.
The schools will now have a way to provide safe water to the students.  Refuge and Hope has placed 6 of these low maintenance filters in Kaberamaido.

Jade also visited 2 microsaving groups in Kaberamaido
to assist them as they work together to make a better future.

It was a great trip.  The truck only got stuck in the mud 5 times :-)
Please continue to pray for the people of Kaberamaido and the new
Center of Hope.

These photos are so exciting to see! It is amazing to see the ways that God continues to provide opportunities for growth and development within the ministries in Kaberamaido! Thanks so much for posting them.
